How do I verify a download before flashing it?+
  1. Download the file and note the SHA-256 checksum shown on its page.
  2. Run sha256sum against the file you downloaded.
  3. Compare the two values character by character before flashing anything to a device.
A firmware image is missing or the link is dead — can you add it?+
Open a request through the contact listed on the about page with the exact model, region and version — we prioritize models where the vendor's own page is already gone.
Do you sign or modify firmware before hosting it?+
No. Files are stored byte-for-byte as originally downloaded from the vendor. If a vendor signature is present in the original file, it's preserved as-is.
Do you keep access logs?+
Aggregate bandwidth statistics only, for capacity planning. Per-request logs are rotated out within 72 hours.
